Honey-Roasted Carrots

DESCRIPTION

Something about the sweetness of glazed carrots pleases even the pickiest of eaters. Four ingredients and half an hour are all you need to whip these up.

INGREDIENTS

4 large carrots, cut into thin sticks
30 ml (2 tablespoons) oil
15 ml (1 tablespoon) honey
Salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS

1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with non-stick aluminum foil.
2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Spread the carrots evenly on the baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Roast until tender and lightly browned, about 25 minutes, stirring about halfway through.
