Angela's Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Submitted by editor

DESCRIPTION

This really is a staple in our house. Everyone loves them, they’re so simple and easy to prepare. If you're casually entertaining large groups of both adults and children, this is a great choice - quick, cost effective and fool proof.

Serve with a side salad or fries, and this will quickly become a family favorite. If you like hot wings throw on some dried hot chilies.

YIELD

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs chicken wings
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup honey
Dried crushed chilies to taste (optional)

DIRECTIONS

1. Turn oven to broil.
2. Place chicken wings on a parchment paper covered baking sheet (faster clean up!). Sprinkle wings with salt, chilies and garlic.
3. Broil on top rack for about 15-20 minutes. Keep a close eye on them as they can burn quickly. Give them a toss at about 10 minutes so they’ll evenly crisp up.
4. When done drizzle with honey and serve.
